One Way to Haven!

One way to haven

It was Sunday, a time to pray, a time to give thanks, and a time to worship. Davao that time was very hot yet the clouds are running above the sky and chasing with the winds. People were walking fast along the long sidewalk of San Pedro Street. Some took pictures in front of the church, some ate some yummy delicacies that can only be bought in San Pedro, and others are playing while a party was going on. I was there watching them, observing the norms, and analyzing and focusing the acts of others. While having this momentum, I am trying to concentrate to what the priest is preaching.

The mass ended well. The second hand of the city’s Big ben-like was still moving like there was a blood flowing into it. Time passed by and poof…It’s time for the youth service in the Evangel Family Church. My friends and I sang all along, dance with our might, and silent praying as solemnity caressed our soul. I couldn’t imagine how fast the flow of our worship was. It felt like I was there for a couple of minutes. Outside the room, it was already dark. People are busy fixing their stuff. The roads were really busy. And I went out for a walk just for a while. After some time, I came back to meet my friends again. It is sad to say but it was another goodbye again.

I checked my phone to update myself. It was already 6 o’ clock and 2 quarters in the evening. That night was cold and fancy lights standing beside the street were twinkling. The stars were visible in the sky and the moon was shining so bright giving me a warm feeling. I was so clam that time. The park caught my eyes. There were bright lights. The park was so huge. The bliss filled me in. I strolled around the park and it was really great. The park has a playground for the kids who want to play all day. There were seats everywhere to pamper me when my legs are tired. The amphitheater gave me a feeling like I was in a ritual show where witches do bonfire. It felt like heaven. It was really great!
